Rupert Murrell - Training delivery

Training delivery

Fika Community

My recent work at Fika Community delivering workplace wellbeing and performance training, designed, created and delivered with a team of psychologists led by Dr. Fran Longstaff.
These psychologically informed and designed courses have been made for  individuals and teams. They are delivered online via an app or website.

I worked with a team of psychologists to careful craft the workplace training to help people make each day at work a bit better.
Courses focused on: Stress management, Positivity, Motivation, Confidence, Focus, Meaning and Connection.

Rupert has been a wonderful addition to the business. He is not only fantastic at what he does, but he makes a lot of effort to connect with people across the business and to always be living the values of the business. He is the ultimate team player and an absolute pleasure to be around. I’d highly recommend Rupert to any team!

West Sussex Mind

I was Digital services design lead at West Sussex Mind for almost three years.  I explored digital solutions that were best for the charity, both in terms of cost but also to ensure they best met the needs of the staff and service users. I was a values led manager who works alongside teams ensuring that both the digital solution is the best one for the team and that staff are trained and skilled to use it.
I was instrumental in moving the charity online during Covid.

Rupert was a great help to my team and sorely missed when he left us! We got speedy digital support I gave to the training team and he was always keen to understand our needs and design solutions for us. Shortly after he first joined us we had to make the transition through Covid to an on-line presence and without him it would have been a lot more difficult and slow. Thanks Rupert!

Training Manager at West Sussex Mind

Rupert was a great asset to West Sussex Mind and always explored digital solutions that were best for our charity, both in terms of cost but also to ensure they best met the needs of our staff and service users. He is a values led manager who works alongside teams ensuring that both the digital solution is the best one for the team and that staff are trained and skilled to use it. Rupert’s skills were particularly in demand in the pandemic where he was instrumental in transforming the way we work a legacy that continues to this day.

Brighton College

I worked at Brighton College in their Creative Learning Centre producing training and learning materials for use in both the classroom and online.

Working closely with the Director of Creative Learning I helped crafted education materials ranging from video content, pupil  podcasts, learning resources, posters, feedback forms, quizzes and creative competitions.

Rupert completely transformed the way the school presented itself to pupils, parents and the public. Not only did his carefully crafted videos made GDPR and safeguarding training interesting and a pleasure to watch, but his untiring support of colleagues and pupils at all levels also revitalised the education we delivered and inspired us to push beyond the boundaries of what could easily feel sufficient in a school setting. This brought forth numerous multimedia learning experiences, both for pupils and staff, and empowered us to bring creativity to all aspects of our work and achieve the excellence we strived for.

Rupert is blessed with a full arsenal of talents, from camera work, editing and sound optimisation, to photography, Photoshop work and all-round IT savviness. He is also able to use many other tools in his work, such as his professional graphic design skills. Thanks to his excellent eye and uncanny sense for current trends and for what will appeal best to a wide audience, Rupert’s countless films of events and lessons – along with his contributions to the school’s creation of posters and various forms of promotional material – helped ensure that the school was promoted with all the style and fanfare it deserved.
